Read Across America
We had a great time this week celebrating "Read Across America Week" in honor of Dr. Seuss. We had a door decorating contest and we worked hard on our door. We entitled it: "Hands Down: We Love Dr. Seuss." Then we painted our hands and created The Cat in the Hat's Hat. We didn't win but we enjoyed this project. Then we took a tour of our school and saw all of the awesome doors- way to go Keowee teachers and students!
Safety Puppet Show
Thanks to the Pilot Club we got to see a great puppet show with great characters telling us how to be safe. Two former Keowee teachers came back to share ways to stay safe with our kids on Thursday.
